Hat 10!!

Hat number 10! Now this one is way cute. And yes, I had run out of the fuzzy yarn there, so found some baby soft yarn to finish it with. I think it looks pretty neat this way so I'm glad I ran out of the fuzzy yarn. And, of course..baby soft and all.

I'm hoping to have 20 hats minimum by the middle of June when I'm dropping off the hats, but we shall see if I actually do it. I'm pretty sure I can and if anything, I'll be crocheting like a madwoman the first week of June. :)

Hat 9

Annd here is hat #9 for my mama. The yarn is a very very soft yarn and it's light so this will be a nice hat in the summer. It's pretty basic, but I didn't want to mess up the nice yarn with some other random yarn and lose that softness that it has. And I shall call this..Comfy hat!

Hat 8

Here is hat 8 for mom. I made the hat first, but thought it needed a little bit extra so made a little flower to add. I made it so the flower can come off in case you aren't all that into flowers and stuff. I think with the colors and style, this one is my favorite so far.

Hat 7

This hat looks pretty funky, but I promise, it is the softest hat you will ever feel. I really didn't want to waste such soft yarn on a small little area on the hat, so I figure there are people out there that would wear a funky hat like this and like it (me for one heh). The purple fuzzy bottom is actually lop sided a bit, but I actually like that and think it adds a little extra funky to it.

Hat 6

Here is hat #6 for mom. The pink part has a little bit of sparkles in it, so it's a real pretty hat. And of course, using that yarn was annoying, but at least it was just a small portion.

Hat 5

Here is hat number 5. This one is really pretty and since that pastel part kinda pops out, I think it makes it look a bit more for a older lady. Though the yarn was really annoying to use, in the end, it was worth it. :)

Hat 4 (maybe)

So here is hat #4 for mom. I did this one a while back, so technically it's hat .5, or I guess hat 1.
I think I'm going to trash the hat though since it is actually a little too short. When my nephew put it on, it looked kinda like a Yamaka. Also, it's made out of regular red heart wool, and though it doesn't feel scratchy, it might on her head. But still, I thought a nice hat, esp for a guy, maybe I'll just add on to the end and give it anyway. Haven't decided yet, but for now..hat #4.

Hat 3

Here is the third hat. It's the addison hat and the free pattern for it can be found here .
It's very pretty but it's also somewhat of a holey hat. The yarn I used is slightly fuzzy so I think that should be okay with the holes. Plus, since it's a light pink, I'm hoping it won't be too noticeable. It would work well on those hot days and what not. Plus, my mom didn't lose all her hair, just right at the top, so she would have been okay with this hat as long as it was comfy. I was thinking about making this hat with a even fuzzier yarn, but I have problems working with fuzzy yarns and this one was kinda hard as it was, so..I'll pass till I have more practice with fuzzy yarns.

Hat 2

Yay for 2nd hat for mom! As the other one, I was going to make a whole hat out of the colored yarn, but after doing the top part decided it kinda looked like a rug. A very pretty rug, but still, something that would look nice on my bedroom floor. So I added the white to kinda fix it up a little.

1st Hat

Here's the first hat I made. The multi-colored yarn is nice and fuzzy soft. I would have made a whole hat out of it, but didn't have enough. Still, I kinda like it this way better I think.
