Hat 165

Hat 165 is made with some Lion Brand Homespun yarn in black and some similar baby yarn in light purple.  Quick and fast hat in DC stitch!

Hat 164

Hat 164 is actually 2 yarns crocheted together.  One is a peach and the other is a light yellow.  It gives it just a highlight of sunshine that I like.  It was looking a little plain so I added some pom poms I had to spruce it up a little.

Hat 163

Hat 163 is my completely crazy hat!  I tend to keep my scraps of yarn even if it's just a little bit.  So just for fun I joined them together to make a crazy hat off different textures and colors.  Though this hat might be a bit eccentric, I LOVE it!  I would totally wear it and came very close to keeping it.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today I went and dropped off Mom's hats to the Kaiser Chemo ward.  I also made the nurses some Butter Mochi to snack on!  There were new nurses there so they were a bit surprised to see me, but seemed happy for the hats.  Now back to work on more hats!

Hat 162

And another Shawl yarn hat using just the two colors and adding a little band so there was a little extra color.

Hat 161

For this hat I used the "Give it a Whirl" Pattern by Adrienne Lesh Designs on Ravelry.  I've done this hat before and find it very cute.  I had some neat turkish yarn and I LOVE how this came out.  I was considering keeping it for myself, but decided I have way too many hats.

Hat 160

Another Shawl Yarn hat!!  This just paired with some white yarn.

Hat 159

Here's more of the Shawl yarn paired with some Caron Simply Soft yarn!  The colors worked well together, though there is still a lot of the shawl yarn left!

Hat 158

I had a little bit of extra slightly fuzzy yellow yarn and paired it with the pink Shawl yarn.  When I ran out of yellow, i switched it with some White Caron Simply Soft Yarn.

Hat 157

Hat 157 is a simple bright hat made with Caron's Simply Soft yarn.  I always love their colors so I couldn't resist making a bright happy hat.

Hat 156

Just like hat 155, this hat is the Woman's Peaked Hat by The Crochet Crowd's Monthly challenge.  This was also done with the Turkish Yarn and I loved how the shading came out!

Hat 155

This hat was the Woman's Peaked Hat by The Crochet Crowd's Monthly challenge.  I used some of the Turkish yarn I had and though I had a couple issues, since they also had a chart with the pattern, I was able to figure it out!

Hat 154

For Hat 154 I took some Red Heart With Love yarn in white and paired it with the yarn from the Cowls I took apart.  Turned out so pretty, though I think it might need a flower or something.

Hat 153

For Hat 153 I used some Red Heart With Love yarn and some other yarn I had gotten at one of the craft stores in the mainland that I wish we had here.

Hat 152

So my sister got a couple cowls from walmart, a pink one and a purple one, then after a few months decided she didn't want them.  The yarn was a very thin soft yarn so I took it apart so I could turn it into hats!  This ribbed hat using the sideways pattern, I started with just the pink and purple together.  It was taking forever and it was a bit hard to crochet since it was both thin and fuzzy.  So I switched it up and added white to each yarn.  I haven't decided if adding a flower or buttons would make it come together more, or too busy.

Hat 151

HAT 151!  Too many things to make, not enough time for Hats.  But been working on a few whenever I get the chance.  For this hat I had some pretty colored Turkish Yarn and I paired it with some Caron One Pound Yarn.  I love that turkish yarn! The colors are always so pretty!  I'll be sad when I use it all up.

Hat 150!!

Yay for 150 hats given away in 6 years!  Doesn't feel like such a long time, but I'll keep doing it as long as I can.
Hat 150 I used some of my One pound Caron yarn with some Michaels' yarn I had left over from one of my trips! Add a little brim and a pretty hat!

Hat 149!

For Hat 149 I was using up the last of that very pretty brown Lion Brand Homespun yarn and paired it with some chunky off white yarn I had. Even though it's very simple I really like this hat!

Hat 148

Hat 148 I used up some of my Michaels' yarn along with some Caron 1 pound yarn.  The result aws a very pretty beanie.

Hat 147

For Hat 147 I used Red Heart's With Love Yarn in Fruit Punch.  I think I used a pattern on this, but for some reason I can't remember which one it was.

Hat 146

Hat 146 is a mix of Lion Brand homespun yarn and I think some yarn I had gotten from Michaels' a couple years ago.

Hat 145

Hat 145 uses the last bit of the the same yarn in Hat 8!  All done in a HDC stitch, and though it's a little open, the grey is a bit fuzzy so I think it'll fluff up after a couple wearings.  Only while making the hat did I realize it looked a bit familiar and remembered I did a similar one 5 years ago.

Hat 144

I used this same type of yarn in Hat 58 and Hat 113. I used up the rest of the blue and started in on the yellow.  I used the Lion Brand Easy Sideways pattern for Hat 144.  I love love love this hat and the colors!
