Happy Birthday Mom!

Took my hats and some cupcakes to the chemo ward this morning!  The nurses didn't know who I was but were happy to have hats.  My sister made it a point to tell them that I come every year and bring hats, I'm always glad she comes with me.   I am really missing my mom and next year will be 10 years, but it feels like it wasn't that long ago that I was with her.

Hat 225

I know I used a pattern for this hat, but can't remember what it was.  I'll come add it if I remember.  Pretty hat using Caron Simply Soft yarn.

Hat 224

I always like to use the Homespun yarn because it's so soft and I love the texture!

Hat 223

Used some Grey and Variegated colorful yam to make this hat with some spike stitches!  So pretty and colorful!

Hat 222

I used the Spike stitch to do Hat 222! I wanted to make sure you could see the neat stitch so I just made a couple rows with the variegated yarn.

Hat 221

I still have leftover Holiday Homespun yarn from Lion Brand! I love this yarn because it's got a thin gold thread through it so it's just a little glimmer in the red and the white! I used the Give it a Whirl pattern from Ravelry to give it a candy cane look!

Hat 220

For Hat 220 I used the Candy Puffs Beanie pattern from Busting Stitches! I used a pretty peach baby yarn so it's nice and soft!

Hat 219

I wanted to make a hat that could be worn by a woman or a man.  Used up some yarn I had to make a tri-color beanie!

Hat 218

Quick Slouch hat for 218!

Hat 217

For Hat 217, I had some leftover yarn from one of my trips to the mainland and I paired it with a thin white yarn to give it a little extra pattern.

Hat 216

Next week Friday I take my hats in! I've got them all done and have currently working on my Xmas crochet! Here is hat 216! I started it with some scrap yarn and then finished it with some Caron Super soft paired with leftovers from my shawl yarn!
